MCP Server
Connect AI agents to Nest to research vaults, check positions, and deposit or withdraw from a wallet you control.
MCP Server
The Nest MCP server lets AI agents such as Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, and Codex work with Nest vaults. An agent can compare vaults, read your positions, answer questions from these docs, and prepare deposits, withdrawals, and claims.
The server never holds keys or signs transactions. It returns unsigned transactions, and your wallet signs them, so you choose how much autonomy the agent has.
Connect
The server URL is https://mcp.plume.org. It uses Streamable HTTP and needs no authentication.
| Client | How to connect |
|---|---|
| Claude | Customize → Connectors → Add custom connector, with the server URL. |
| ChatGPT | Settings → Connectors → Create, with the server URL and no authentication. |
| Claude Code | claude mcp add --transport http nest https://mcp.plume.org |
| Other MCP clients | Add a remote Streamable HTTP server with the server URL. |
Tools
| Tool | What it does |
|---|---|
list_vaults | Lists vaults open for deposits, with APY, TVL, redemption time, and supported assets on each chain. |
get_vault | Describes a vault's strategy, yield source, risks, and redemption policy. |
get_positions | Lists a wallet's vault holdings on every chain, with USD value and profit and loss. |
quote_deposit, prepare_deposit | Estimates a deposit, then builds its approval and deposit transactions. |
quote_withdrawal, prepare_withdrawal | Estimates a standard or instant withdrawal, then builds its transactions. |
get_claimable, prepare_claim | Checks settled standard withdrawals, then builds the claim transaction. |
search_docs, read_doc, list_docs | Answers questions from these docs. |
Chains are identified by EVM chain ID. Amounts are in token units, such as 100 USDC.
Transactions
Prepare tools return a chainId and an ordered list of calls in the EIP-5792 wallet_sendCalls shape. The agent submits them from your wallet, as one batch where the wallet supports it.
Your wallet decides whether you approve each transaction:
- You approve each transaction. With Coinbase Wallet MCP, the agent sends the calls to Coinbase Wallet and you approve them in the app. The Coinbase Wallet plugin spec describes this flow for agents.
- The agent transacts within limits you set. With an agent wallet such as MetaMask Agent Wallet, the agent signs on its own within your wallet's policy, such as allowed contracts and a daily outflow limit.
Before preparing a deposit, the agent quotes it and confirms the vault, amount, fee, and redemption time with you. Deposits are subject to the Terms and Conditions, and every depositing wallet is screened for compliance. Each deposit carries a single-use compliance proof that expires after about an hour, so the agent prepares it again if you approve later.
